ANALISIS STUDI KOMPARATIF BANK UMUM KONVENSIONAL DAN BANK UMUM SYARIAH DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2009 – 2017
Abstract
Krisis keuangan dan krisis ekonomi skala nasional ataupun global merupakan merupakan ancaman nirmiliter bagi kedaulatan sebuah negara, seperti Indonesia yang terkena dampak dari krisis 2008. Indonesia merupakan negara yang menganut dual banking system bernama bank Umum Syariah dan Bank Umum Konvensional .Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan kinerja keuangan antara bank umum syariah dengan bank umum konvensional periode 2009 - 2017. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, dan Solvabilitas. Alat uji dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa 2 variabel independen Mann Whitneyy test menggunakan program analisis SPSS versi 23.0. Data berjumlah 90 laporan tahunan dengan sampel dari 10 perusahaan jasa keuangan sektor bank yang terdiri dari 5 bank umum konvensional (BUK), dan 5 bank umum syariah (BUS) periode 2009 – 2017, yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bank Syariah lebih likuid, Bank Konvensional dapat mengahasilkan laba lebih baik dari pengelolaan asset dan ekuitas, Bank Syariah lebih tinggi peroleh laba bersih manajemen dari hasil operasi, Bank Konvensional memiliki resiko gagal bayar yang tinggi, sedangkan BUS lebih mampu dalam kelola modal yang dimiliki untuk peroleh aktiva.
