KARAKTER GENERASI MILENIAL PREKARIAT DI LINGKUNGAN EKONOMI KREATIF DALAM UPAYA MENDUKUNG KETAHANAN EKONOMI (STUDI KASUS KEMAMPUAN KARYAWAN DI RGB CREATIVE DIGITAL MEDIA)
Abstract
Kondisi prekariat yang dialami generasi milenial di lingkungan pekerja kreatif seperti jumlah jam kerja yang berlebih, multiple job, praktik kerja lepas, kerja paruh waktu akibat ketidakamanan dan ketidakpuasan pekerjaan, serta kesenjangan pendapatan menyebabkan tingginya tingkat pengangguran terbuka di kalangan usia muda dan terdidik. Padahal potensi mereka dapat memberikan manfaat terhadap terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan dan meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi gambaran karakter generasi milenial prekariat di lingkungan ekonomi kreatif untuk memiliki ketahanan ekonomi dan menganalisis kemampuan sumber daya manusia kreatif sebagai modal utama keluar dari jeratan prekariat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus di RGB Creative Digital Media yang terletak di Kota Bandung dengan analisis data observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakter generasi milenial prekariat di RGB Creative Digital Media tidak sepenuhnya bersifat negatif. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari respon karyawan bahwa situasi prekariat sebagai ancaman, tidak berpengaruh terhadap keamanan pekerjaan, serta prekariat menjadi peluang untuk melakukan inovasi. Upaya untuk meminimalisir dampak negatif prekariat terus diupayakan oleh karyawan di RGB Creative Digital Media dengan mencermati sumber daya dan modal yang mereka miliki. Konsep dan nilai RGB Creative Digital Media mampu membangun lingkungan usaha yang membuat karyawan nyaman, meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja yang tinggi sehingga ketahanan ekonomi terwujud pada kemampuan memelihara stabilitas ekonomi yang dinamis dan sehat. Maka dari itu, lingkungan kerja memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk kepribadian dan adaptasi karakter dengan mengandalkan modal sosial berupa keterbukaan, kemandirian, kepercayaan mampu meningkatkan sumber daya kreatif yang dapat bertahan dalam kondisi prekariat ditinjau secara sosial dan ekonomi.
