STRATEGI OTORITAS JASA KEUANGAN (OJK) GUNA MENGHADAPI ANCAMAN DARI SEKTOR FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY DI INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI PERTAHANAN
Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah fenomena kejahatan di industri financial technology yang semakin makar pada tahun 2018. Fenomena tersebut dapat menjadi ancaman bagi negara apabila tidak ditangani dengan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji strategi Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dalam menghadapi ancaman dari sektor financial technology yang dapat mengancam negara, sebagai unsur utama pertahanan nirmiliter dari dimensi ekonomi-keuangan dikaji dari sudut pandang Ekonomi Pertahanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Soft System Methodlogy dalam menganalisis permasalahan dan strategi OJK. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Prioritas Strategi OJK adalah mengoptimalkan satgas waspada investasi, meningkatkan literasi dengan edukasi dan sosialisasi di masyarakat, menggunakan pengawasan berbasis teknologi, dan pengawasan berbasis market conduct melalui Asosiasi. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi Kementerian Pertahanan dan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dalam membangun sinergi untuk menghadapi ancaman nonmiliter dari sektor financial technology.
