https://jurnalprodi.idu.ac.id/index.php/EP <p align="justify">Ekonomi Pertahanan: Jurnal Kajian Akademisi dan Literasi Ilmu Ekonomi Pertahanan is one of the study programs from the Faculty of Defense Management, Universitas Pertahanan Indonesia, which has the task of carrying out educational, research, and community service activities that have certain curricula and learning methods in 1 (one) type of academic education, vocational education, and/or professional education in the field of state defense and state defense according to the field of Defense Economics study program. The purpose of this study is to show the urgency of system thinking in looking at food estate problems in order to be able to streamline and support this government program to be sustainable, unlike the previous Food Estate program. The method used is systems approach as a scientific method to solve complex problems. The results of the discussion showed that this Food Estate program involving ministries or institutions from the central and regional governments runs independently and there are policy overlaps and conflicts of interest in its management between farmers and appointed entrepreneurs. Related to financing and the availability of supporting logistics such as fertilizers, modern agricultural tools are effective and efficient. marketing is also a crucial thing to discuss.so that the program that has been launched always does not last long. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 5 variabel yang akan diteliti yaitu tiga variabel eksogen dan dua variabel endogen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan meliputi data dari SIPRI terkait alokasi anggaran pertahanan, indeks demokrasi dari <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economist_Intelligence_Unit">Economist Intelligence Unit</a> (EIU), indeks persepsi korupsi yang dikeluarkan oleh <em>the non-governmental organisation </em><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transparency_International"><em>Transparency International</em></a>, indeks pembangunan manusia dari <em>The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the annual </em><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Development_Report"><em>Human Development Report</em></a><em>. </em>Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa korupsi, human development, human rights and rule of law, dan demokrasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap Alokasi Pertahanan.
