PENGGUNAAN SIG UNTUK MENDAPATKAN INDEKS KESESUAIAN LOKASI ANGKATAN TNI AL BERDASARKAN PENDEKATAN ANCAMAN KEAMANAN TELUK JAKARTA (STUDI: PANGKALAN PONDOK DAYUNG)
Abstract

Abstract - Naval Port that are too far away from threat location caused the boat becomes very wasteful of fuel and time when needed quickly. Some Naval Port also have various technical problems such as far away from command center, shipping channel silting, tidal flood, and other problems. Therefore, researcher conducted a study to select the right port location and evaluate the region by considering the terrestrial parameters, water parameters, and threat parameters. Based on the terestrial and water parameters, almost all of northern areas of Jakarta have suitable conditions, while in the eastern and western areas (Bekasi and Tangerang) have appropriate conditions till unsuitable conditions. The research suggests that the current location of Pondok Dayung Naval Port to be maintained in view of the importance of national security and the area of Jakarta Bay.
