PENGARUH KEBEBASAN BEREKSPRESI DAN PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP KEAMANAN INFORMASI DI KODAM XIII/MERDEKA

Abstrak -- Kebebasan berekspresi dan penggunaan media sosial saat ini sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan pribadi para prajurit, baik diluar jam dinas maupun didalam jam dinas. Kodam XIII/Mdk sebagai satuan yang mempunyai nilai strategis (berbatasan dengan Filipina dan dilalui oleh ALKI II dan III) merupakan tempat penelitian cukup baik. Pengungkapan kebebasan berekspresi dengan berbagai sarananya dan penggunaan media sosial secara luas sebagai akibat dari tren yang ada di masyarakat, menjadi ancaman dari bocornya informasi militer sensitif yang dilakukan oleh prajurit. Penelitian ini berupaya menjawab seberapa besar pengaruh kebebasan berekspresi dan penggunaan sosial terhadap keamanan informasi di Kodam XIII/Mdk. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini yaitu meliputi pembuktian teori-teori yang saling berkaitan antara lain teori kebebasan berekspresi, teori media sosial, teori keamanan nasional, teori efektivitas dan teori keamanan informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan path analysis sebagai metode analisis dari data (berupa angket) yang telah didapat. Populasi sebanyak 9.656 orang dengan sampel 100 orang dihitung dengan rumus Slovin. Pengambilan data menggunakan metoda simple random sampling yang berarti tidak menghiraukan pangkat dan jabatan dari prajurit yang diambil sampel. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel X1 dan X2 secara individual terhadap Y; maupun variabel X1 dan X2 terhadap Y secara simultan (bersama-sama). Dengan kata lain bahwa kebebasan berekspresi dan penggunaan sosial masing-masing maupun secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengamanan informasi yang diselenggarakan di Kodam XIII/Mdk. Meskipun demikian, terdapat pengaruh dari faktor lain yang tidak dapat dijelaskan karena berada diluar lingkup penelitian yang dilaksanakan.

Abstract -- Freedom of expression and the use of social media today greatly affect the private lives of the soldiers, both outside the office hours and within hours of service. Kodam XIII/Mdk as a unit with strategic value (bordering the Philippines and passed by ALKI II and III) is a good place for research. The expression of freedom of expression with its various ingredients and the widespread use of social media as a result of existing trends in society, posed a threat from the leaking of sensitive military information carried out by soldiers. This research attempts to answer how big the influence of freedom of expression and social usage to the effectiveness of information security in Kodam XIII / Mdk. The scope of this research includes the proving of interrelated theories of freedom of expression theory, social media theory, national security theory, effectiveness theory and information security theory. This research uses quantitative research method by using path analysis as the method of analysis of data (in the form of questionnaire) that have been obtained. The amount of population is 9.656 persons with 100 persons for the sample, counted by Slovin formula. The data were collected using simple random sampling method, which means ignoring the rank and position of the soldier taken samples. The result of this research is that there is significant influence from X1 and X2 variable individually to Y; as well as variables X1 and X2 to Y simultaneously (together). In other words, the freedom of expression and social use of each and together give significant effect on the of information security held in Kodam XIII/Mdk. Nevertheless, there is an influence of other factors that can not be explained because it is outside the scope of research conducted.
