Peran PT Pindad (Persero) dalam Mendukung Alutsista TNI AD

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan ketidakmampuan PT Pindad (Persero) memenuhi kebutuhan alutsista TNI AD. Hal ini didasarkan pada permasalahan dari kondisi perusahaan seperti kondisi teknis, kondisi finansial, kondisi SDM dan kondisi organisasi. Penelitian ini berupaya menjawab kondisi PT Pindad (Persero) dalam memproduksi alutsista TNI AD dan peranan PT Pindad (Persero) dalam mendukung alutsista TNI AD. Sedangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kondisi PT Pindad (Persero) dalam memproduksi Alutsista TNI AD masih kurang baik, hal ini dikarenakan terdapatnya beberapa permasalahan seperti; (a) Kondisi teknis dimana sebagian besar mesin produksi dan fasilitas lainnya sudah tua, sehingga kapasitas produksi cenderung menurun; (b) Kondisi finansial masih memiliki ketergantungan pendanaan pada pinjaman Bank dalam membiayai operasionalisasi produksi alutsista. (c) Kondisi SDM masih terkendala dengan komposisi SDM yang rata-rata di atas usia produktif. Selain itu kompetensi pegawai kurang mendukung kemampuan perusahaan; (d) Kondisi organisasi masih terkendala dengan budaya kerja yang belum memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja perusahaan. PT Pindad (Persero) memiliki peran dalam mendukung alutsista TNI AD dapat dilihat dari produk yang telah dihasilkan seperti senjata, amunisi, kendaraan khusus, dan bahan peledak. Seluruh komiditi yang dihasillkan oleh PT Pindad (Persero) merupakan komoditi strategis yang digunakan oleh TNI AD untuk menegakkan kedaulatan dan menjaga keutuhan wilayah NKRI.

Abstract - This research is motivated by the inability of PT Pindad (Persero) to meet the needs of Army alutsista. This is based on problems of company condition such as technical condition, financial condition, human resource condition and organizational condition. This research attempts to answer the condition of PT Pindad (Persero) in producing army alutsista and role of PT Pindad (Persero) in support of Army alutsista. While the research method used is using qualitative methods, the results showed that the condition of PT Pindad (Persero) in producing Alutsista TNI AD is still not good, this is because there are several problems such as; (A) Technical conditions in which most production machinery and other facilities are old, so production capacity tends to decline; (B) The financial condition still has a funding dependency on Bank loans in financing the operationalization of alutsista production. (C) Human resource condition is still constrained by the composition of human resources above average productive age. In addition, the competence of employees is less supportive of the company's ability; (D) The condition of the organization is still constrained by the work culture that has not had a significant impact on the improvement of company performance. PT Pindad (Persero) has a role in supporting the army alutsista can be seen from the products that have been produced such as weapons, ammunition, special vehicles, and explosives. All commodities that are created by PT Pindad (Persero) is a strategic commodity used by the Army to uphold sovereignty and maintain the integrity of NKRI territory.
