Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Combat Readiness Personel Skadron Udara 15 Wing Udara 3 di Lanud Iswahjudi Madiun

Abstract

Abstrak -- Skadron Udara 15 adalah satuan TNI AU yang mengoperasikan pesawat T-50i Golden Eagle yang diharapkan selalu mempunyai combat readiness (kesiapan tempur) yang tinggi baik personel maupun alutsistanya. Namun kondisi combat readiness personel ini masih belum optimal. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi beberapa faktor/variabel diantaranya kompetensi dan lingkungan kerja. Permasalahan yang diteliti yaitu tentang pengaruh kompetensi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap combat readiness personel Skadron Udara 15. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap combat readiness  Skadron Udara 15. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi berganda. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 61 orang personel Skadron Udara 15 yang dipilih dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling dari total populasi 153 personel yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap combat readiness personel Skadron Udara 15, hal ini berarti bahwa kompetensi merupakan faktor penting dalam upaya  meningkatkan combat readiness personel Skadron Udara 15, maka dari itu kompetensi personel perlu ditingkatkan, (2) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap combat readiness personel Skadron Udara 15, hal ini berarti lingkungan kerja merupakan faktor penting dalam upaya meningkatkan combat readiness Skadron Udara 15, maka dari itu upaya meningkatkan kondisi dan situasi lingkungan kerja perlu ditingkatkan, (3) kompetensi dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap combat readiness personel Skadron Udara 15, hal ini membuktikan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut berperan penting dalam meningkatkan combat readiness personel Skadron Udara 15 baik secara parsial maupun bersama-sama.

Abstract -- The 15th Air Squadron is an Indonesian Air Force unit that operates the T-50i Golden Eagle.  The 15th Air Squadron’s goal is to always maintain the highest of combat readiness for both its personnel and military systems.  However, at this point, the squadron’s combat readiness is not yet optimal.  The condition of combat readiness is the result of a number of factors or variables to include work competency and environment.  The goal of this research is to analyze the influence of work competency and environment on combat readiness levels of the 15th Air Squadron. This research uses a quantitative approach applying a multiple regression technique.  Sixty-one 15th Air Squadron personnel were sampled using a proportional stratified random sampling method from a total of 153 squadron personnel.  The research results show that: 1. Work competency has a direct positive influence on combat readiness, this means that work competency is an important factor in the maintaining combat readiness for the 15th Air Squadron and therefore must increase, 2. The work environment has a direct positive influence on the level of combat readiness and must be increased for the 15th Air Squadron, 3. Since both work environment and work competency have a direct positive influence on combat readiness, this research provides proof that both variables are important and should be increased either individually or simultaneously.
