MODIFIKASI GELADAK UTAMA KAPAL PC40 MENGGUNAAN SANDWICH PLATE SYSTEM GUNA MENDUKUNG OPERASI PERTAHANAN LAUT
Abstract
Indonesia adalah negara maritim kepulauan terbesar di dunia, sudah seharusnya memperkuat kemampuan dalam mengamankan wilayah perairan yang sangat luas, guna menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan pelayaran di seluruh perairan yurisdiksi Indonesia. Hal tersebut memiliki konsekuensi perlunya kapal patroli yang handal dan memiliki kekuatan material yang tangguh untuk mengadapi ancaman serangan lawan. kapal PC 40 merupakan kapal patroli TNI-AL yang dapat di handalkan dengan dimensi yang relatif kecil akan mudah beroperasi di daerah kepulauan. Pada umumnya konstruksi struktur pada kapal PC 40 menggunakan material alumunium, seiring dengan perkembangannya jaman, material Sandwich Plate System telah ditemukan memiliki karakteristik yang memberikan kelebihan dalam bidang kekuatan dan struktur yang lebih sederhana dibandingkan kontruksi konvesional.pada penelitian ini penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis yang bersifat simulasi numerik dengan mengidentifikasi perbandingan kekuatan dari struktur konstruksi menggunakan alumunium konvensional dengan struktur konstruksi menggunakan baja plat dasar mengunakan material Sandwich Plate System konfigurasi alumunium-elastomer-alumunium di bagian struktur pelat datar pada geladak utama Kapal PC 40 milik TNI-AL. Analisis dilakukan dengan simulasi numerik berdasarkan FEM pada konstruksi geladak utama dengan pembebanan muatan. Dari hasil simulasi didapatkan besar tegangan maksimal untuk material alumunium sebesar 17 Mpa dengan menggunakan penegar, sedangkan konstuksi dengan material SPS tegangan maksimal yang dihasilkan sebesar 15 Mpa mengurangi penggunaan 15 penegar, dengan deformasi maksimal untuk alumunium dan SPS yaitu 12% yang terjadi pada bagian tengah blok konstruksi geladak utama.References
