CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF ANTI-SHIP MISSILE FOR FAST MISSILE BOAT INDONESIA
Abstract : Fast Missile Boat (FMB) is one of system defense that can be used to secure Indonesian sea borders. The system is used by Indonesian Navy, and are equiped with surface anti-ship missiles. Missile technology is one of the seven priorities in Indonesia main weapons systems technology mastering. Therefore, this research focus on the conceptual design of the anti-ship missile system, which is the initial stage in the process of developing the technology. This research aims to obtain a system configuration for anti-ship missiles that can be installed in FMB. The method carried out in this study is conducting need analysis to obtain design requirements, by taking primary data from Indonesian Navy and secondary data from neighbour countries that have similar defense equipment. From the data analysis conclude that shows that anti-ship missile needed is medium range cruise missile type, so that its propulsion are solid booster and turbojet sustainer, with flight speed 0.8 - 0.9 Mach, flight altitude <30 m, and guidance system of GPS-INS and active radar. The missile main parameters, which mainly limited by the capacity of FMB are length: 4.3 - 6.3 m, diameter: 0.28 - 0.44 m, lebar sayap 0.6-1.6 m, dan berat < 1000 kg.
