OPTIMASI KEMAMPUAN COMBAT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MANDHALA PADA PROYEKTIL OTO MELARA 76 MM PADA PARAMETER HAMBAT BALISTIK EKSTERNAL

Kemampuan Combat Management System (CMS) Mandhala, CMS Nasional, perlu ditingkatkan guna mendukung ketercapaian MEF Renstra agar mampu meciptakan efek gentar dan kemandirian Alat Peralatan Pertahanan dan Keamanan (Alpalhankam). CMS yang digunakan Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Laut (TNI AL) sebagai sarana kelengkapan pertempuran yang mengintegrasikan sistem deteksi dan sistem persenjataan. CMS Mandhala dikembangkan oleh PT LEN, perlu dioptimalkan kemampuannya agar mampu bersaing dengan CMS luar negeri. Penelitian ini meninjau lebih lanjut pada CMS Mandhala dengan meningkatkan kemampuan pada aspek balistik eksternal dengan analisis numerik parameter-parameter pada konsisi intern dan ekstern untuk meningkatkan kemampuan CMS Mandhala. Sehingga solusi persamaan balistik eksternal yang digunakan, mampu memberikan nilai dalam mengenai target lebih presisi dan akurat. Studi kasus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Meriam Oto Melara 76mm yang dimiliki TNI AL pada Kapal Perang Republik Indonesia (KRI). Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan solusi persamaan matematis Chudinov dengan memunculkan hasil persamaan baru kemudian digunakan perangkat Matrix Laboratory (Matlab) untuk memunculkan hasil fungsi persamaan. Output yang digunakan adalah penentuan elevasi balistik, tinggi maksimum proyektil pada lintasan trayektori, dan waktu tempuh proyektil. Dengan meningkatnya kemampuan CMS Mandhala, diharapkan mampu memberikan pertimbangan dan rekomendasi kepada Pemerintah dan TNI AL untuk menggunakan produk dalam negeri.
