Abstract

One of the task of the TNI AU Intelligence at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base is to support the implementation of air operations carried out by the Indonesian Air Force so that intelligence must be able to carry out early prevention and early detection  of every form of threat that can interfere with air operation, especially in preventing acts of terrorism at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base. The problems encountered when carrying out these task and looking for applicable solutions in the form of policies and efforts that can be made by policies and efforts that can be made by policu makers as problems solving by considering the strategic environment and predictions of the threat of terrorism at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in the future.         This artikel uses descriptive analysis method through several literature studies on intelligence, air base security system, and terrorism as well as looking for data in the field that is needed by coordinating with Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base and Dispamsanau. The contribution of Indonesian Air Force Intelligence to prevent acts of terrorism at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in the context of supporting air operations can certainly be realized if there is an understanding and “political will” from all parties who have the authority. Synergy of all relevant parties is needed to increase human resources (Indonesian Air Force Intelligence personnel) and the need for special Intelligence material infrastructure related to the threat of terrorism in order to make Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base safe from acts of terrorism and the success of air operations carried out by the Air Force
