KEBIJAKAN STRATEGI PERTAHANAN LAUT INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI

Luas perairan Indonesia yang mencapai 6.400.000 km2, dengan panjang garis pantai sebesar 108.000 km2, serta posisi silang yang strategis, menyebabkan Indonesia memiliki kepentingan fundamental untuk menguasai dan memanfaatkan laut, memiliki identitas dan budaya maritim yang kuat, serta memanfaatkan posisi strategis untuk kemaslahatan bangsa dan menciptakan keamanan di Kawasan. Luasnya perairan yang dimiliki Indonesia berimplikasi terhadap belum dapat tercapainya keamanan laut yang maksimal oleh pemerintah. Padahal jika dilihat dari perspektif ekonomi, Indonesia memiliki potensi yang sangat besar dari sumber daya lautnya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasikan Kebijakan Strategi Pertahanan Laut Indonesia dalam Perspektif Ekonomi. Metode penulisan dalam artikel ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah Indonesia telah memiliki kebijakan mengenai strategi kelautan Indonesia, yang mengacu pada Visi Pembangunan Indonesia yang tertuang dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2007 tentang Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang Nasional 2005-2025 dan Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2014 tentang Kelautan. Kebijakan ini kemudian direfleksikan dalam beberapa konsep yaitu: Ekonomi Biru, Kesadaran Domain Maritim, Poros Maritim Dunia, Wawasan Nusantara.
