PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROGRAM STUDI STRATEGI OPERASI UDARA PADA PERWIRA SISWA SESKOAU A-58 DIMASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Pendidikan memiliki peran dan fungsi penting dalam mengembangkan kualitas prajurit Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) yang responsif, tangguh, dan trampil dalam menjalankan tugas utama TNI. Studi ini berfokus pada pengembangan pendidikan umum untuk perwira menengah Angkatan Udara di Sekolah Staf dan Komando Angkatan Udara (Seskoau) Indonesia. Saat ini, proses pembelajaran terhambat oleh wabah pandemi Covid-19, yang menyebabkan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan melarang universitas untuk menyelenggarakan perkuliahan tatap muka dan memerintahkan mereka untuk menyelenggarakan perkuliahan secara daring. Studi ini bertujuan untuk membahas dampak metode daring terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan militer, khususnya di Seskoau. Secara praktis, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan dan persepsi perwira siswa yang menjalani pendidikan daring dengan wawancara semi-struktural. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan dua temuan utama. Pertama, metode daring dianggap efektif oleh sebagian besar perwira siswa dalam memberikan pemahaman terhadap materi pembelajaran meskipun sebagian besar menolak untuk terus menggunakan metode pembelajaran tersebut dan lebih memprioritaskan metode pembelajaran tatap muka setelah pandemi Covid-19. Kedua, terdapat berbagai masalah yang mengganggu proses pembelajaran perwira siswa seperti keterbatasan internet, pemadaman listrik, hingga gangguan atau distraksi eksternal selama perkuliahan. Studi ini juga menyarankan agar metode tatap muka diprioritaskan dengan opsi penggunaan metode daring dengan syarat tertentu, serta untuk melakukan penelitian serupa dengan memprioritaskan evaluasi pembelajaran di akhir perkuliahan.
