Peran Militer dalam Kontra Insurjensi di Filipina

Abstrak - Ancaman yang dihadapi setiap Negara pada saat ini tidak hanya berupa ancaman militer, tetapi terdapat pula ancaman nir militer. Ancaman yang muncul saat ini berupa ancaman yang bersifat asimetris yang tidak hanya berbentuk konvensional. Salah satu bentuk ancaman asimetris yang akan dibahas dalam tulisan ini adalah tentang insurjensi. Insurjensi yang dibahas pada tulisan ini mengenai insurjensi yang terjadi di Filipina. Selain itu di dalam tulisan ini pula akan dibahas bagaimana cara yang digunakan oleh militer Filipina dalam menghadapi insurjensi yang berada di Filipina. Selain itu, di dalam tulisan ini disajikan pula perbandingan perlawanan terhadap insurjensi yang dilakukan oleh militer Filipina dengan yang dilakukan oleh militer Indonesia dalam menghadapi insurjensi di Indonesia.

Abstract - Threats faced by every country at this time is not only a military threat, but there are also non military threats. Current and emerging threats such as asymmetric threats that not only the conventional form. One form of asymmetric threats will be discussed in this article is about the insurgency. Insurgency discussed in this paper about the insurgency in the Philippines. Also in this paper also will discuss how to use the Philippine military in the face of insurgency in the Philippines. Moreover, in this paper presented a comparison of resistance against the insurgency conducted by the Philippine military to that done by the Indonesian military in the face of insurgency in Indonesia.
