ISLAMOPHOBIA DI INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF PEPERANGAN ASIMETRIS

Islamophobia sudah menjadi fenomena global akibat dari banyaknya aksi terorisme dengan motif Islam. Di Indonesia sendiri terdapat sebagian organisasi masyarakat yang terindikasi menyebabkan islamophobia, sehingga mengganggu hubungan sosial dengan umat beragama lain serta menimbulkan permasalahan kerukunan umat beragama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah terwujudnya masyarkat keagamaan yang hidup rukun dan toleran. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen dan studi pustaka. Teknik penelitian dengan menggunakan model interaktif dengan komponen collection, condensation, displays dan conclusion. Teori yang digunakan pertahanan, strategi, terorisme, keamanan bersama, konsep ancaman, konsep asymmetric warfare equation dan konsep open and closed view of Islam. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; pertama bentuk islamophobia di Indonesia berbeda dengan Negara-negara barat. Kedua organisasi masyarakat keagamaan dalam perkembangan islamophobia di Indonesia terdapat dua kategori yaitu kelompok yang meningkatkan islamophobia dan kelompok yang mengurangi islamophobia, ketiga islamophobia di Indonesia dalam perspektif peperangan asimetris merupakan ancaman asimetris yang menyerang kerukunan umat beragama.
