DESAIN KONSEPTUAL SISTEM TRANSMISI DATA DARI PESAWAT NIRAWAK (UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES) KE BATTLEFIELD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS)

Kebutuhan informasi data secara audio visual bagi pimpinan tentang posisi gelar personel, kendaraan tempur, persenjataan, didaerah operasi, manuver pasukan perlu dikoordinir dengan baik sehingga akan meminimalisir kemungkinan adanya pasukan bermanuver diluar skenario pertempuran. Perlu adanya integrasi komunikasi antar keseluruhan unsur satuan dengan manajemen operasi sistem data yang baik, melalui observasi, pengamatan, orientasi, untuk pengambilan keputusan secara realtime dengan pemanfaatan sarana Pesawat Nirawak atau Unmanned Aerial Vehichles (UAV) ke Battlefield Management System (BMS). Permasalahan yang ada yaitu belum terintegrasi atau interoperability dengan baik sistem komunikasi antara UAV dengan BMS dari aspek sistem transmisi data. Secara nyata kita membutuhkan integrasi sistem transmisi data dalam mendukung pertempuran dari UAV ke BMS guna misi intelejen, pengamatan dan pengintaian dalam mendukung komando pengendali operasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode Dieters, dimulai dari pendefinisian desain, pengumpulan informasi sampai dengan tahap desain konseptual yang diperkuat dengan studi dan analisis lapangan berupa uji simulasi, uji statis serta informasi dan pengamatan langsung didukung studi literatur. Diharapkan ini dapat memberikan kelancaran dalam mentransmisi data secara lengkap kepada pimpinan tentang pasukan sendiri, pasukan kawan, pasukan musuh, kondisi medan, peralatan dan persenjataan tempur di lapangan. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh sistem transmisi data yang dapat mendukung UAV ke BMS yaitu dengan mengunakan media radio RF dengan band VHF dan UHF berkemampuan transmisi data yang besar dan baik yang dimiliki oleh TNI AD. Dengan sistem transmisi yang baik sebagai media kirim terima data akan berperan penting memberi informasi arah dan mengatur manajemen rute yang dibutuhkan sebagai integrator, mengintegrasikan sistem sensor video, manajemen penginderaan, manajemen persenjataan dan manajemen operasi.
