PEMBINAAN MENTAL IDEOLOGI TENTARA NASIONAL INDONESIA ANGKATAN UDARA DALAM MELAWAN RADIKALISME

Abstrak

Maraknya penyebaran paham radikal Islam tidak hanya terjadi di kalangan masyarakat sipil tetapi sudah merambah ke sejumlah institusi negara bahkan juga terjadi di lingkungan TNI, termasuk TNI AU. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang digunakan Dinas Pembinaan Mental dan Ideologi TNI Angkatan Udara (Disbintalidau) dalam menangkal penyebaran paham radikal Islam di lingkungan TNI AU, dan juga menganalisis sejumlah tantangan yang dihadapi baik secara internal atau dari dalam institusi sendiri maupun secara eksternal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan deskripsi analisis. Data digali dari sejumlah narasumber terkait obyek penelitian.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi ancaman penyebaran paham radikal di lingkungan militer mencakup rekrutmen, insiden internal, penyebaran propaganda, akses terhadap senjata, dan tindakan di luar kedisiplinan. Disbintalidau menggunakan pendekatan holistik, termasuk pendidikan, pelatihan, pembinaan mental, pengawasan, advokasi nilai-nilai moderat, kerjasama dengan lembaga terkait, dan pemanfaatan media sosial untuk menghadapi tantangan radikalisme. Diharapkan strategi ini akan membantu mempertahankan kinerja dan integritas TNI AU sebagai institusi pertahanan negara
